Video about gaming in self-care

One large research project lead by members of the Cesar-Network aims to improve heart failure patients physical activity level through the use of Nintendo-wii gaming.

The project implements the self-care theory developed by Tiny Jaarsma and Anna Strömberg in a innovative way – bowling! The pilot study gave promising results and 600 patients will now be recruited in Sweden, Italy and Israel for a RCT.

See the film with interviews with patients and researchers (number three on the site).
