Lithuania’s Minister of Health Rimante Šalaševičiūtė and several Lithuanian hospital managers have recently visited the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital in Linköping (US). The health minister expressed his interest in cardiology clinic’s approach to working with nurse-led reception and teamwork between nurses and physicians.
Magnus Janzon, director of the Department of Cardiology, Anna Strömberg, professor, and Peter Wodlin, Head of heart failure section presented the clinic for the delegation. Professor Tiny Jaarsma and nurses Peter Johansson and Josephine Svantesson showed the delegation the nurse-led clinic.
