Brynja Ingadottir recently received a 3.000.000 ISK grant from Landspitali University Hospital – An Innovation Grant to fund the development and testing of a computer game 
intended as part of discharge education for patients to learn about self-care (post-operative pain management) after surgery. The project is the last part of Brynja’s Ph.D dissertation under the supervision of Professor Tiny Jaarsma and Dr. Ingela Thylén. It is a collaboration project between Linköping University, Landspitali – the National University Hospital of Iceland and Reykjavik University – CADIA (Center for Analysis and Design of Intelligent Agents).
